I watched a compilation of the ko animations for the Wii boxers and got hooked immediately lel

Binge watched videos like crazy

So my dad got it on the Wii and I played it ᕙ[･۝･]ᕗ

And sucked despite having watched every instant knock out trick and having read every wiki page

...in my defense King Hippo and Mr Sandman are damn hard

So now I'm playing it all over again to clean up my name ୧| ͡ᵔ ﹏ ͡ᵔ |୨

I'm also playing the NES game on the Switch (✷‿✷) it's very fun

I'm currently on Soda Popinski 2

Haven't fought him yet, I'm scared

He's the one I had the most trouble fighting ◉‿◉

On the initial hype I got into it thinking they might go with the original dark vibe

The Skullectors came out and that was so swag

I thought they'd go with those builds for the new doll line or something

Then the nickelodeon live action movie was announced and so the new looks of the monsters would be revealed

At first I thought I might grow into this, plus it's a musical

But my hopes just decrease

The live action looks like ass I'll be honest

The outfits are bland and not spooky & dark like the Chad MH I know and love

They look like MH inspired outfits a TikTok girl would make with her wardrobe not like a cool character design

Many characters are unrecognizable (Lagoona my girl they did you dirty)

Why is Frankie non binary¿¿¿ Why isn't Clawdeen lesbian¿ And why half human¿¿¿

And my best girl Draculaura ಥ╭╮ಥ oh what have they done to you

No accent, no high pitched voice, no goth Lolita inspired clothing, no cute bubbly attitude, boring split hair

And why would they make her like a wizard?¿?¿? Did they really think being a Vampire isn't the swaggiest thing ever and that they had to add some extra flaw????? What's wrong with these people 💔

The animated renditions do look slightly better than the live action but still no dark vibe :/

Reviving Monster High was a mistake
